Here at The Royal Oak you can expect a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere as soon as you step through the door. We pride ourselves on delivering delicious, great quality pub food in our charming 16th century pub with a smile to boot!

Come and warm yourself by the open fireplace and try a freshly brewed pint of Cerne Abbas Brewery ale, made just up the hill, or relax out in the beer garden under the grapevines with a glass of Pinot.

Our menu offers an exciting combination of traditional and innovative pub food using locally sourced produce providing a genuine taste of Dorset. We have your pub favourites like our steak & ale pie with Stilton or Salmon, sweet chilli & spring onion fishcakes to our specials such as Plaice fillets poached in a fish velouté and filled with king prawns. There is something for all tastes.

From starters to desserts where you can sample Duncan's traditional 1560’s sticky toffee pudding and the signature white chocolate raspberry cheesecake  - definitely worth saving room for!
